The CBN has appointed acting CEOs for the five banks whose CEOs were sacked yesterday.
The acting CEOs are:
- Susan Iroche (Finbank Plc)
- Mahmoud Lai Alabi (Intercontinental Bank Plc)
- John Aboh (Oceanic Bank Plc)
- Funke Osibodu (Union Bank Plc)
- Nebolisa Arah (Afribank Plc)

This is very harsh in as much they are trying to santise the industry, I guess they did not consider the cost as the confidence level from the public has been erroded.
They are should have given the directors a deadline rather than this dastard act

Though the governor is trying to avoid the mistakes of the past then,their purnishment shouldn’t have been so drastic at such especially that my bank(oceanic bank) is involved.Its a pity!
